Clinical Trials
Clinical trials are often written in a technical way, which is difficult for the lay person to understand. For this reason we will present a brief summary of the trial in table format. Should full details be required by visitors to the site, we will be happy to publish it in greater depth.
The study was conducted in 104 patients with a mean age of 51.8 years (the youngest was 22 years old and the oldest was 78 years old). These patients used just a cream and not Caplets.
In half of the cases impotence had been present for more than a year. It was recent (less than 3 months) in 27% of cases and very long standing (more than 5 years) in 22% of the cases.
In 18% of patients, no factor responsible for triggering impotence could be identified. The other cases presented associated risk factors (50%). Relationship problems (38%) and premature ejaculation (28%). Lastly in 25% of patients, the sexual dysfunction appeared to be related to work or family problems or to a treated or non-treated concomitant disease.
Diagnosis
More than half of the patients presented with impotence organic erectile insufficiency and marked performance anxiety (Group 1).
In other cases impotence was secondary to ejaculation disorders (Group 2), or related to isolated moderate arterial insufficiency (Group 3).

Results According To Age
Analysis of the results in relation to age demonstrated that the optimal efficacy was observed in patients between the ages of 50 and 60 years old.
After the age of 60 years old, the improvement in spontaneous erections was only observed in 22% of patients. 52% were impotent due to arterial insufficiency, present for more than 5 years in half of the cases.

The patients who had suffered from impotence for less than 3 months appeared to be less sensitive to treatment. They were young subjects (mean age of 46 years old) who were often presented with ejaculation disturbances.
